Which is Your Favorite Prophecy?

As you can see, on the right and left sidebars, I have every book with their prophecies. Also, if you take a look at my post Prophecies! you will see a detailed explanation of each one. For these reasons, I will not waste my time (or yours) posting all of the prophecies again.

One thing I didn't take into account when making that post was the question, "Which prophecy is your favorite?" I was emailed this question, however, the person wanted to remain anonymous, so I shall follow his/her wishes! To answer this, I have sub categorized favorite in this case into three subsections.

In Terms of the Way it Sounds: By this I mean how the prophecy sounds when you read it out loud. Most of them are ranked highly in this category, so I will start by taking the ones out that I feel do not sound good. The Lightning Thief (although it is good, there are many that are better) The Sea of Monsters (again, same reason) The Son of Neptune (well this should be obvious) The Mark of Athena (difficult to count out, but there are many better) The Prophecy of Seven (maybe I'm counting this one out because I say it too much haha). Okay now I'm down to 4. I guess next I'll cut out The Battle of the Labyrinth. Okay, 3 -- hard to do but bye bye The Titan's Curse. 2 -- The Last Olympian (I really like the first two lines!). So, the winner is The Lost Hero (I really feel it is extremely catchy!)

In Terms of How it Played Out: By this I mean how the prophecy unraveled throughout the story. Firstly, I should be able to rule out The Prophecy of Seven, as it hasn't unraveled. Next, I'm going to out rule something that half of you are going to hate me for (but half of you will love me); The Last Olympian. Yes, this unraveled extremely well, but I feel it was overplayed. It legit talked about the line "...cursed blade shall reap" a million times! Next is an obvious one as it didn't really unravel; The Son of Neptune. Next I'm going to take out The Mark of Athena. My main reason for this is that they didn't even have to figure out the "...angel's breath" line, they just knew it was Nico...what? Okay, moving on. Next, I'm going to eliminate The Lost Hero, although it was the catchiest, it didn't win this category. Now, it is getting hard. The Lightning Thief; it was good but not great. Oh, I almost forgot The Sea of Monsters; that one too was okay. Well, lastly I'm going to eliminate The Titan's Curse. So, the winner is The Battle of the Labyrinth (I really feel it was the most unpredictable and it all came together well)

In Terms of How it was Given: By this I mean how the prophecy was given to the person who it was for. For this one I am not going to out rule, but just knock it down to my top three. The Son of Neptune, The Mark of Athena, and The Great Prophecy. The Great Prophecy, although it was kind of funny to read Rachel fainting, has to be knocked off first. I guess I'm going to have to knock off The Son of Neptune next (sorry Mars). So, the winner is The Mark of Athena (Yay Ella!)

Okay down to three! Well, my winner is ...
The Lost Hero!
