I have noticed that many people seem to talk via comments, and ask each other questions about the series, make predictions, etc. This is perfectly fine, but I figured I'd make a place where this could all go together. So, this page is for chatting about the series, and getting feedback on your opinions, predictions, questions, etc. I will periodically check in, and comment where need be.

      I read The Series of unfortunate events too! However every time I try to check one out at my school (which has all of them), the one I need is checked-out! Plus, about half of the others.

    I am so happy!!!
    i've been waiting a year for this book to come out:D And i can't put it down!
    i'm so glad that we get to hear about Annabeth and Percy. when they were falling down Tartarus, i was ready to storm Rick Riordan' house and demand to know if they would make it!

      me either its driving me crazy!!! ok I know this sounds crazy but it was said that two of riordans main characters are going to die in the BoO and on the cover of the BoO you cant see percy and annabeth I know it might just be a roman special thing but im just afraid that I might be right :(

    FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!
    i got the house of hades. :):):) I was mad at rick riordian for sending percy and annabeth to tartarus(well i kind of enjoyed it !) i was dying to read annabeth and percy's point of view well i just took down some funny parts from the book:
    “To my wonderful readers:
    Sorry about that last cliff-hanger.
    Well, no, not really. HAHAHAHA.
    But seriously, I love you guys.”

    “Keep climbing,' he told himself.
    'Cheeseburgers,' his stomach replied.
    'Shut up,' he thought.
    'With fries,' his stomach complained.”

    Stupid rock gods!” Leo yelled from the helm. “That’s the third time I’ve had to replace that mast! You think they grow on trees?”
    Nico frowned. “Masts are from trees.”
    “That’s not the point!”

    “You’re that lady,” Leo said. “The one who was named after Caribbean music.”
    Her eyes glinted murderously. “Caribbean music.”
    “Yeah. Reggae?” Leo shook his head. “Merengue? Hold on, I’ll get it.”
    He snapped his fingers. “Calypso!”

    Annabeth?” Percy said again. “You’re planning something. You’ve got that I’m-planning-something look.”
    “I don’t have an I’m-planning-something look.”
    “Yeah, you totally do. Your eyebrows knit together and your lips press together and—”
    “Do you have a pen?” she asked him.”

    “Leo!” Jason was shaking his shoulder. “Hey, man, why are you hugging Nike?”
    Leo’s eyes fluttered open. His arms were wrapped around the human-sized statue in Athena’s hand. He must have been thrashing in his sleep. He clung to the victory goddess like he used to cling to his pillow when he had nightmares as a kid. (Man, that had been so embarrassing in the foster homes.)
    He disentangled himself and sat up, rubbing his face.
    “Nothing,” he muttered. “We were just cuddling.”

    “So . . . what is this fire river called?”
    “The Phlegethon,” [Annabeth] said. “You should concentrate on going down.”
    “The Phlegethon?” [Percy] shinnied along the ledge. They’d made it roughly a third of the way down the cliff—still high enough up to die if they fell. “Sounds like a marathon for hawking spitballs.”
    “Please don’t make me laugh,” she said.
    “Just trying to keep things light.”

    “The Romans move east from New York. They advance in your camp, and nothing can slow them down.
    "Nothing can slow them down," Leo mused. "I wonder..."
    "What?" Jason asked.
    Leo looked at the dwarfs. "I'll make you a deal."
    Akmon's eyes lit up. "Thirty percent?"
    "We'll leave you all the treasure," Leo said, "except the stuff that belongs to us, and the astrolabe, and this book, which we'll take back to the dude in Venice."
    "But he'll destroy us!" Passolos wailed.
    "We won't say where we got it," Leo promised. "And we won't kill you. We'll let you go free."
    "Uh, Leo...?" Jason asked nervously.
    Akmon squealed in delight. "I knew you were as smart at Hercules! I will call you Black Bottom, the Sequel!"
    "You, no thanks," Leo said. "But in return for us sparing your lives, you have to do something for us. I'm going to send you somewhere to steal from some people, harass them, make life hard for them any way you can. You have to follow my directions exactly. You have to swear on the River Styx."
    "We swear!" Passalos said. "Stealing from people is our specialty!"
    "I love harassment!" Akmon agreed. "Where are we going?"
    Leo grinned. "Ever heard of New York?”

    Me too! I was a little late to read the books and just finished the House of Hades. I'm glad I only have to wait a few months to read it. Even though I'm really excited about it, it'll be kind of sad that it's the last Percy Jackson book. :(

      At least they still have the Percy Jackson Kane chronicles crossovers! They are: The Son of Sibel with Percy and Carter, The Staff of Serapis, with Annabeth and Sadie, and a 3rd one with all do four.
