Why am I talking about this you may ask? No, it is not because of the stupid fictional story of the world ending, it is because the winter solstice is one of the most significant days in the PJ series.
- THE STORY BEGAN - Percy Jackson started his entire adventure because of a lie. A lie stating that he was the lightning thief, and he stole Zeus' bolt. The bolt was stolen by Luke Castellan on the winter solstice!
- PERCY REMAINED THE MAIN CHARACTER - In The Titan's Curse, the winter solstice was the deadline for the crew to save Artemis, as she was a key vote in the question of how to deal with Kronos. Once saved, Thalia decided to join the Hunters of Artemis, furthermore making Percy the main protagonist. Thalia's 16th Birthday was the next day, and if she hadn't chosen to be 15 and 364 days forever, the Great Prophecy would have pertained to her!
- HERA IS SAVED - The winter solstice was the deadline to save Hera in The Lost Hero!
