The House of Hades Cover Review!

Yesterday, I didn't get a chance to do a huge review of the cover, so I'll do one now. I'm sure you've all seen it, but just in case, here it is, one more time!

I'm not sure how to do this, so I'll just write some bullets:

  1. Percy and Annabeth: Well, for all you Percabeth lovers out there (which is 99.99% of Percy Jackson Fans, there you go! They are together! They are alive! Also, this is the first time Annabeth has ever appeared on a cover.
  2. The Doors: Clearly, at the end, the Doors are in site. One would have to assume they are the Doors of Death, but who knows, Rick does trick us.
  3. Running?: It seems to me that they are running from something. This may just be perception, and they may be running because they see the Doors, but who knows? This brings me back to my prediction that the RickHanger of this book will be this scene: they will be at the Doors, and then it will end.
Now, did you all hear the news. Rick tweeted that Nico isn't having a POV. How sad. I'm still hoping for the Coach Hedge POV :D

My POV Predictions Are:

  1. Percy
  2. Leo
  3. Hazel
  4. Jason

Thanks for Reading!

The House of Hades Cover!

Well, the long anticipated moment has arrived. Here is the cover for Heroes of Olympus Book 4: The House of Hades!

Rick Riordan's 'House of Hades' cover

My Opinion of it: AWESOME!

What I think it entails:

At first, anyone in there right mind would say that it's clearly Percy and Annabeth, which it most probably is. The interesting part of this, though is that it provides us with two vital pieces of information:

1) Annabeth and Percy will have big roles in The House of Hades (assumingly)

2) Annabeth and Percy will find the Doors of Death (located at the back) by the end of this book. I'm still sticking with my original prediction that that is going to be how the book ends: with Percy and Annabeth at the doors.

I'm sure a million other people are out there, right now, doing the same thing I am, so please, if you read anything cool, send me a link, and if you have any opinions, comment them/email them to me, and if I like them, I'll post them!

Now, because I owe you guys, here is another post about The House of Hades:

What will the Prophecy be?

Every Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Heroes of Olympus book has had a prophecy. It has been the main focus of the book. We already know the prophecy for Book 5: "seven half-bloods shall answer the call..." But the question is, what will The House of Hades show us?

We know that 4 people can give prophecies: Rachel Elizabeth Dare, Octavian, Ella, and Apollo. Rachel and Ella are at Camp Half-Blood. Octavian is marching an army towards Camp Half-Blood, and who knows where Apollo is!

So, how will we get a prophecy?
Will we get a prophecy?
Who will give the prophecy?
What will it be?

Just for fun, I am going to post my guess at what the prophecy will be: keep in mind, I am just making this us, and I am also really bad at being creative, so here goes:

Six Shall Continue on the Final Quest
They will Have to fare Without their Best
In The Land of the Gods, they will Continue to Learn
But Fight they Must, for all is to Burn
Secrets Lie at the House of a God
But with their Best Effort, they may be Stuck with a Mod

I'll let you guys figure out what all of that means :D

Thanks for Reading!

PS: I added The House of Hades to the left side-bar, and put my prophecy there (for the time being)

Neglect...!

I just want you all to know that I haven't been completely neglecting this Blog; I read every comment I get, and if needed, I respond to them within a 24 hr period. It's just that it's such a busy time in the year, and I have a hard time finding time to write a post. Nevertheless, I am still here, and will still be posting.

I'm not really going to do an exciting post today, but I promise you all a good post when The House of Hades cover comes out (May 31 - this Friday); I will do a full synopsis, and hopefully I will have time to do a House of Hades related post along with it.

Till then, thanks for reading!

The Sea of Monster's Movie Update!

Thank you to anonymous for commenting this - whoever you are, I owe you one!

Now, I cannot guarantee the validity of this, because it is on Tumblr, but I will assume it is legit.

(Sorry if that didn't come up as a link - I'm on my phone)

They changed the prophecy from

...shall reach 16 against all odds

To

...shall reach 20 against all odds

HOW CAN THEY DO THAT!?

For Zeus' sake, it doesn't even sound right!

The Son of Sobek Spoiler-Free Review!

Okay, so here is my review that contains no spoilers for those of you who haven't read it yet. This is going to be short as well, the book is short, and I can't write any detail!

So, pretty much, it was good. Not great, but good. Basically, Rick should not have just written a short story, in my opinion, because we are just being teased for a possible future phenomenon. So, if you are debating whether to get it, or just wait for the e-book, I'd recommend you wait :).

Thanks for Reading!

The Son of Sobek Review!

Warning! Contains The Son of Sobek Spoilers!

As Promised, here is my [spoiler included] review. Only read if you have already read The Son of Sobek and/or do not care about reading spoilers.

Overall, I was a little disappointed with the book. I was just expecting a bit more.  I mean, don't get me wrong, it was really good, I guess it just couldn't live up to my expectation with it only being a 30 page book.

The main problem I have is that it talked about things like the doors of death, but that doesn't make any sense.Wasn't the   book supposed to take place before The Lost Hero? Percy didn't even know anything about the doors of death then, just what happened in the prophecy, but he even said he thought it would be generations later.

Also, he said things like Carter being a monster coming out of Tartarus through the doors, and he sure didn't know anything about that back then.

Now, my other complaint: the ending! It was such a good ending, but it was a RickHanger! How could he do that!? He doesn't even know if he is going to write another book.

Personally, I think it would be amazing if he turned it into a series, but the problem is, even if he did, he said it wouldn't be until after Norse! That's 6+ years down the road! I'll be in my 20's!

Anyways, those are my opinions, how about yours?

Thanks for Reading, and I will be doing a non-spoiler review later, hopefully by the end if this weekend, but no promises.
